ACV and Baking Soda Preparation Questions

Posted by Dirk (Germany) on 09/06/2008

Dear Ted,

One quick question: Do I need to mix ACV and baking each time fresh, or can I mix it ahead of time, like in the morning for the whole day? Howlong will the mix keep? 5 minutes? One day? One week??? Thank you!!!

Many greetings from Germany, Dirk

Dear Dirk:

If the solution is premixed with ACV and baking soda, they tend to spoil in room temperature. Therefore it is best to keep it in the refrigerator in a closed container and use it only once per day. That means mix it enough for once a day and refrigerate should not have problems.

Good am Ted. One quick question only. For 5 days I took your recipe of 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 2 tbs of ACV for my acid reflux. You suggested to rest after for 2 days. There was a slight relief. Then I went to the doctor due to chest pain. And said I had gastric ulcer and had to undergo endoscopy. I just went thru it and the result was I have a case of mild antral gastritis. Dont' know if the recipe help but I was given meds(pantoprazole) again which are costly. My question is can I still take your recipe now? Sorry if it was a long question. Please reply. Thanks and God bless
