Add ACV to H2O2 and Water?

Posted by Perechenco on 06/15/2006

Does anyone know if I can safely combine ACV and h202 in water? Or will they form a new substance? Thanks, I like both, so I'm hoping I can just make a big bottle in the morning and sip it all day.

Yes you can combine ACV with H2O2. However you are limit to only a couple of drops (not over 6 or 7 drops) of 3% H2O2 per glass of water. As to ACV, you can put a a reasonable amount of ACV that you think is best for you. Some people can take a tablespoon in a glass of water of ACV, some can even drink up to one cup of ACV, but this is your choice. I sometimes use just plain vinegar mix with h2o2 to help with sore throat, however certain pathogens will not respond within 10-15 minutes, that means you have to try a more alkaline approach such as a potassium carbonate (1/8 teaspoon) of mouthwash.
