Thanks for your answer. So apple vinegar would not help him? Only baking soda? Best regards, Johnny

Children are more sensitive to acid. Baking soda alone is better. While it is true that the standard remedy is for apple cider vinegar children is about 1 tablespoon of ACV plus 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda. However, in event of a long term condition (such as since he was born) then such as acid reflux, this requires just simple baking soda. Once the body acquires enough bicarbonates, and that can take as much as 3-4 weeks, then the acv and baking soda is o.k, but never acv alone.
