TED'S CURE SAFE WHILE BREAST FEEDING

Posted by Minh (Edison, NJ) on 01/06/2006

Hi, I have this finger nail fungus in my thumb and first finger since about 3 months. I delivered a baby 2 weeks back and wanted to treat this but all prescription medicines are expressed in the breast milk. Ted, is your cure okay to follow while breast feeding? - thanks

You may need to make some changes if you want to do that. For one thing, do not use clorox at all. Other recommendations mentioned are all o.k. and it don't affect your medication and things should an accident occur. It is important to keep your hands dry always and in the sun as often so that fungus can die quicker. Washing dishes and doing laundry are just about the worse thing that happen, so try to avoid doing them manually. The best way around the problem is to use disposable latex gloves everytime you need to do something. And keep it dry with talcum powder after you finish things up, such as washing hands, taking bath, etc. Just remember, I always use disposable latex gloves (the surgical gloves you see in movies) whenever the work involves water, cleaning or dirt (such as gardening).
