Question About Evaporation Time for Peroxide Solution

Posted by Harrier on 01/17/2006

My Peroxide solution is indeed 3% and yes I apply two drops of ACV at the base of the nail and then the same with H202, but allow 15 minutes to evaporate. How soon after applying drops do I wipe off? How do you dry under the toe nails? I agree applying twice a day is critical. Although the toe nail at the top has again turned a bit yellow, the nail itself is returning much stronger and less brittle. Other toe nails are growing much more slowly.

If you allow 15 minutes of evaporation, this is also the wipe off time. If it is on the top, that is yellow and not deep, then just cut the top portion or even part of it out so the yellow portion don't spread. The key is to cut when the nail has grown in excess only. Don't force cutting the nails.
