Where to Find Tea Tree Oil in Thailand for Seb Derm

Posted by Ingvar (Srimahaphote, Prachinburi Thailand) on 03/21/2009

I am sure Teds cure will work, I have used ACV internally for a long time however not with baking soda.

However I am trying to find the tee tree oil, I have searched in every place I can think of in Bangkok and Pattaya. I found one little Pharmacy inP attaya having small bottles (ml bottles) of tea tree oil from Australia for about 300 Baht each, seems expensive. Could Ted point the way where to find the oil in Bangkok or elsewhere in Thailand? I have searched every health shop in Central world, Paragon, Siam square, Fashion Island but nobody knows anything about tea tree oil?? You would expect something so beneficial to appear somewhere but nothing so far except for this one little pharmacy in Pattaya. I have also searched the local markets in central Thailand and rural hospitals with nada as the result.

Dear Ingvar:

Thailand's department store generally won't sell a good tea tree oil. Most tea tree oil are sold through many stores in Bangkok's Chinatown (Yaowaraj) where they specializes in chemicals and perfumery products. Nearly every business in Chinatown sells at wholesale prices and most also have tea tree oil, including stores that specializes in cosmetic products. Such stores include Hong Huat, New Sang Thai, or non-Chinatown, such as Perfumersworld ( www.perfumersworld.com ) which is located at Ngarmwongwan area. You may also find chemical wholesalers through the telephone directory. I believe buying tea tree oils are much easier, for wholesale here in Bangkok than in other cities in Thailand.

Shopping centers are the worse place to find a good and cheap tea tree oil, you get a much better chance through wholesaling and distributor businesses, mentioned here.
