TED'S REMEDIES
Yes, I used tar and salicylic acid shampoo. This is good to remove scaling for one day, but next morning its back. I have also tried nizorel, zinc, and also a sulphur shampoo. These I use for cleansing, but I need something that cures this condition. I will try vitamin D, but can you tell me at what strength I should take daily? Also apple cider vinegar, has had a positive effect, but I am not sure why.
Someone told me not to drink beer or lager, as it makes SD worse, can you confirm this?
Yes, I get much better feedback from people with apple cider vinegar to treating the conditions. But it is also my habit to leave no stones unturned.
With the new information that you are a beer drinker, I was assuming you weren't I am afraid I have to recommend you stop drinking beer. Beer suppresses liver's function of detoxification, especially those that are fungus related, which causes your condition. It is necessary to restore the liver condition withvitamin C, in the form of sodium ascorbate, as it has no side effect and very beneficial in terms of reducing oxidative damage (caused by your conditions). Take any vitamin B complex will be most helpful. Lecithin about 1000 mg - 2000 mg at 3 x a day will also restore liver function by removing excess fat and other obstructive conditions caused by alcohol. If you like to eat chinese parsley (coriander) eat lots of them with onions in your tuna sandwiches. The Chinese parsley will detoxify whatever toxic metal you have in your system that suppresses your immune system causing the conditions of seborrheic dermatitis.
For vitamin D dosage, generally about 20,000 IU per day will be helpful. Just see over a week if the condition will improve. The dosage is rather conservative, however.
Try taking apple cider vinegar/ sodium bicarbonate internally to allow body to restore its function. Try about 1/4 glass of apple cider vinegar per day. You can also mix a small amount of sodium bicarbonate as it might be helpful also.
