What Formulation of Baking Soda for Brain Tumor Patient with Gerd?

Posted by Anonymous on 05/18/2011

Hi Ted,

I discovered your email address while googling re home remedies for GERD. We brought my mom today to an MD because we were afraid there could be liquid (from eating) in her lungs that could cause aspiration pneumonia. Her symptoms are: shortness of breath and coughing while eating, remnants of food found in her mouth the next day, unusual low pitch soft gargling noise as she breathes lying down, and drooling. However, the doctor couldn't hear the noise in her lungs when she checked my mom at the clinic so he said it could be GERD. He prescribed some Motilium and Omeprazole. I am hesitant to give any prescription drugs for mom because of her condition: she has recurrent meningioma, aggressive stage. We had to put her on electrolyte IV the other day because her sodium and chloride levels dived again.

My question: which formulation of baking soda would you recommend for her condition. Please note that her natural doctor (ND) from Mexico recommends that she takes sodium bicarb capsules size "00" as an adjunct cancer remedy. I can send you the details of her alternative cancer regimen if needed.

Thank you so much in advance.

Apple cider vinegar mixed with baking soda after meals 30 minutes will help alkalize, but apple cider vinegar alone will help GERD if taken before meals. There is also vitamin C ascorbic acid, which is helpful for GERD if taking before meals. People with cancer often take Vitamic C ascorbic acid every two hours 500 mg and vitamin B3 niacinamide 250 mg. So it is taken both 10 times a day to help ward off cancer or buy time.
