Improving Stomach Function

Posted by P (Los Angeles, CA) on 12/10/2011

Hi Ted, I was wondering if you could give some guidance on an urgent matter? I am dying from my symptoms or suffering in agony and in frustration every single day! Here are my profile and symptoms:

I am a 44 year old male of Asian born. I reside in Los Angeles - California - USA. I am in good health, overall! Only medication I am taking is a light dosage of Lopressor (10mg) for minor case of high blood pressure. I do frequently take "over-the-counter" headache pill. However, when I do take them, I do feel "acidy" a bit or sour in my stomach due to caffeine in it. I am very careful about what I intake or drink. No cigarettes, no alcohol, no sodas, no milk or any juices, no heavy foods, and I am very slim or skinny. Actually, I lost a lot of weight due to my symptoms. I only drink tea (Dried Red Date Tea, Korean Goji Berry Tea, and warm water). I recently had an EKG done on my heart and showed that I was in solid shape - "all was good". However, my blood test indicated 'postive' for H Pylori. Also, they said I have GERD/Acid Reflux. My self-test indicated "a below normal production of acids in my stomach".

SYMPTOMS I AM SUFFERING FROM:

  • Indigestion: Takes me almost eight hours before I can digest. Severe indigestion. No major acidy feelings in my stomach or pain or ulcers!
  • Sometimes, my body wants to belch or burp (after eating or drinking liquid) but cannot and that drives me insane! Then, my stomach feels very heavy and full.
  • [The Worst Symptom]: I feel like there is "water" just lingering around my lower throat area plus heaviness in the throat area. Occasionally, some mucus build-up but not always. Nothing ever comes up or out of my mouth. Just that it drives me insane feeling constant water in my throat. This becomes worse after eating or drinking even a sip of water and when lying down. Also, after meals, sometimes, there is water just lingering or not digesting through in my stomach but the feeling is most bothersome in my throat area.
  • Also, recently, I notice my chest feels weird and some tightness or pinching feeling in my left breast area by the armpit and some pressure in the left arm as well. Then, after a week, it goes away. {Western Doctor told me this is sign of Acid Reflux or GERD!} ...
  • [Another Serious Symptom]: Above symptoms are followed with "rapid heartbeat" (like my heart is on super pump) and then followed by shortness of breath or grasping for air! This comes and goes but always constant and lingering around. Again, got my EKG, and the test showed no problem with the heart!
  • NOTE: I am currently taking Chinese Herbal Tonics (liquid form) and getting weekly acupuncture. My digestion become a whole lot better but all the serious symptoms are still lingering around or coming back! I have been going to the Western MD Doctors and they put me on whole bunch of medications for Acid Reflux Disease, GERD, H Pylori, Allergies, etc. All did not work for me and actually made my health worse and took a dive for the worst! I actually ended up going to Emergency several times due to "harsh side effects from prescribed medications". They would put me on three to four medications per treatment and taking almost 9 to 12 medications per day, every day. That was totally insane and was killing my body! That's why I ended up going for the Chinese Herbs.

Does my symptoms sound like GERD and H Pylori to you? Can it be finally cured or can I be cured from my symptoms? If so, what natural way or natural supplements can I take? Can you specify in detail? I think I am very sensitive to drugs (that's why I was having so much side effects from the western medicines).

Lastly, what do you think about taking Mastic Gum?

How about Matula Herbal Tea? This is the new one. A lot of the online blogs indicate that this is fake and super expensive. Have you heard of this?

Lastly, how about Monolaurin (Lauric Acid --- 1200mg, 2 times per day)

Can you help me and guide me? You will be saving my life! My life is in complete shambles due to the horrible on-going symptoms and no remedy! Thank you.

First off your entire GERD is due to indigestion caused by a severe vitamin B complex deficiency, so the liver doesn't have the nutrients to provide the stomach with digestion. The body after eating therefore doesn't digest because if it does there's not enough alkalinity provided by the pancreas to neutralize the digested food. Since the stomach has low stomach acid, the body gets bloated, that's really the cause of it, because the stomach is low stomach, there is not protection from infections, such as H. pylori and fungus. Then you get weak as the fungus some gets in blood and you feel weak. The simplest method is have enough stomach acid to digest the food that's 4 drops of concentrated hydrochloric acid with each glass of water during eating, this will resolve your indigestion and bloating stomach. Now after if has digested, the body needs alkalinity to neutralize the stomach acid, so you take baking soda. There may be gas initially but this will be over in a week or two, as the body tries to get rid of excess acidity and pancreas functions better with bicarbonates, in fact it is one of the main stores of bicarbonates. Vitamin B50 is taken at least 3 times a day for a week to replenish the liver of the B complex so it could produce the enzymes and other functions thus helping the digestion.

As for the fungus, it will be killed with a stronger stomach acid, unless there are ulcers from the h. pylori that is created, to prevent that, it needs lysine and glutamine to speed up healing, aloe oil 10 drops and vitamin E 200 iu will further accelerate the healing and can be taken aloe vera 3 times a day and vitamin E 200 iu once a day. The lysine is taken at 1000 mg x 4 times a day, and if the acid reflux is severe enough you can quickly control with humic acid, only a little will do such as 1/32 to 1/16 teaspoon very little. This is the cure, although I cannot know specifically the details that depends on individual, but this is the main remedy. As for mastic gum it merely protects the lining, a couple of things will help the stomach, such as melatonin as it is shown to help healing. It is actually produced by the intestines also not just the pineal glands and taken during the night. If you want a specific vitamin to help kill fungus, then it is always the B3 niacinamide, and can be taken at 500 mg to 1000 mg in evening and 250 mg x 3 during the day. If this is done the body will get slowly out of the woods.

The other ones such as coconut oil, and other things you mentioned merely lessen the condition, including digestive enzymes to digest the food, so for your case it might be need for a few weeks while the body is able to produce the enzymes itself from the vitamin B complex, lysine is also needed for the stomach to produce digestive enzymes too, but also the histidine, maybe just 500 mg to 1000 mg a day. I never have acid reflux as I found before they happen i take B50 and magnesium, so that actually prevents a full blown acid reflux, due to a condition called achlorydia that can be relieved somewhat with vinegar or apple cider vinegar during meals, but I prefer hydrochloric acid concentrated 4 drops one glass of water drank during meals, but because of limited availability you can try potassium chloride, vinegar, apple cider vinegar, citric acid, lemon juice, and others during meals, and if not enough, then digestive enzymes as temporary measures as you take B complex reviving your liver. Also iodine deficiency is one of the causes of achlorydia, but is taken at night to help as Lugol's solution, maybe just start at one drop if the other methods don't work.
