GERD WORSENING, CAN'T FIND REMEDIES IN PHILLIPINES

Posted by Noel (Manila, Phillipines) on 11/27/2008

hello ted, i have suffering from GERD 2yrs. now... tought it was a respiratory problem so i went to a pulmonologist.
my lab's results are all negative. the doctor said that i must be suffering from GERD, and prescribe me PPI for 2 weeks. it helped me a little but the pain is still there, and my situation is worsening...

then i came back after 2 weeks and the doc said that i shoud go to a gastrointestinal doc. he also said that i could have an operation depending on the extent of damage on my stomach. im so afraid that time, as much as possible i dont want to have an operation regarding this deases..

im experiencing tightness of my chest, difficulty in breathing, speaking, also pain in the upper abdomen.
and the pain seem to be reflecting on both side of my neck, that is causing me to have a movement difficulty.
and the food i ate seems to be just stock and not going down on my tummy. i also feel theres air inside my tummy, and i think the air inside is the cause of all the pain experiencing.

before i decided when to go to a gastro doc. one night i surf the net just to hoping to find answers and cure, and my search lead me to this site. and read the letters regarding ACV and its power to cure GERD and im very happy. we immedietly buyed when we got the salary of my wife. i take 2tbs. of 3xday, and i take it plain.
i felt relieved the moment i tried it, it relieves me with my pain on my chest.
after more than a week of using it, ive noticed that the indigestion problem is still there, the food wont go down, still there's air inside my tummy. and pain still affects my neck, breathing, and the way i talk. (seems to be catching my breath.)

i remember back then that i was relieved from all the pains by releasing all the air im my tummy by farthing. after that i felt that the food began to digest.

im a smoker, but i reduced the nos. of sticks i smoke to minimum of 3 sticks a day. does smoking affect the effect of ACV?

should i still go to a gastrointestinal doctor?

but i learned from most of letters that i read from this site, that thier doc's dont helped them at all. and keep prescribing medicine that dont work and dangerous to thier health because of side effect..

should i continue drinking ACV??? ive read from your letters about other cure like vitamin b5 + vitamin b complex, magnesium chloride, fresh frozen royal jelly.

i went to a local pharmacy and look for all of these, but the pharmacist is NOT familiar with vitamin b5, magnesium chloride, fresh frozen royal jelly.

can you tell me were to buy all these med?

when one of these works for me, does it completely cure my GERD for good?

as much as possible i dont want to have a surgery because of finacial problems. in case you dont know ted, and i think you dont. im not working for this past 2 years until now because this deases. i know that a im a pain in the neck for my wife, and parents. and i know that they are waiting for me to be healed so that i can work again. i also have a child to support too. i am very frustrated of whats happening to me.

i cannot choose the food i eat, also because of financial problems.
does it affect the full effect of ACV?
what food should i ate?

i am a prayerful man, and i know that GOD lead me through this site for a purpose. and i know that this site is a will of GOD for those people seeking for helped...

Dear Noel:

There's one condition where you mentioned of gas that seems to push up the stomach that is not noted by acid reflux people (maybe they don't have it) which is the gas you mentioned in the lower intestinal area. For many people, they don't mention to me their eating habits, howver, all mushrooms and fermented foods should be avoided, especially peanuts. The other things mentioned, if you can't get it, then a vitamin B complex would do. Finally I really helps if ACV is continued, however, I would much prefer to add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water at least taking two times a day, along with the usual apple cider vinegar. B complex helps, but certain toxic food can create this condition, especially aspartame and all artificial sweetners and must be avoided. Smoking obviously can cause breathing problems leading to emphysema, and the cure is both simple and difficult which is to stop smoking and also supplements with some MSM (methylsulfonyl methane) or drops of DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) in a half glass of water. If the body can't absorb B complex then B12 sublingual or injection might be required. However, for me both magnesium suppleents and B5 and b complex are important ones. In some cases bugs, which more or less is fungus like organism, which is why mushrooms and fermented products (yeast, cheese, etc.) and sweets has to be avoided and this is also one reason why you are responding to ACV. However, a more effective ACV is to add baking soda. In this case 2 tablespoons of ACV plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water taken twice a day is a more effective remedy, preferably 1 hour before eating. The person should not drink or eat any sour foods and fruit juices along with any foods. These tend to slow down the digestion process and push up the food.

Hi Noel....I am also living in the Philippines. Here is where you can buy the stuff for the remedies:

Baking Soda...Sold in all CSI Malls, Robinson's Mall and SM Malls in the supermarkets there. Look in the cleaner/washing powder area and buy the 'Arm and Hammer' brand.

Apple Cider Vinegar...Since you live in Manila, there should be no problem finding this -- they sell Bragg's ACV in the mall supermarkets there. They also sell it in any 'Healthy Options' shop in any SM Mall.

Magnesium supplements -- I buy Magnesium
Gluconate and organic Magnesium Sulphate(Epsom Salts) from 'Healthy Options' shops(much cheaper than GNC) in any SM Mall.

B Complex vitamins: From Healthy Options.

Haven't been able to find DMSO or MSM anywhere in the Philippines myself yet, but regarding smoking and emphysema -- you could also try Bill Munroe's hydrogen peroxide inhalation remedy. This also works for emphysema, bronchitis etc and HP is very common in the Philippines. Check this link for this remedy:

I hope this helps.

Hi Noel of Manila, Bill of San Fernando, and TED
I am Binks from Las Pinas, male, 58 years old, is also suffering from GERD related problems and also searching for solutions. About 5 years ago when I started to fell uneasiness in my stomach that made me see a doctor who diagnosed me to have gallstones. Since I am traveling from time to time, the doctor stongly suggested my gall bladder's removal to ensure that I don't get a gallstone attack during traveling. So I agreed. My first year without the gallbladder was ok, but after another year, I experienced uneasiness again, this time the Dr. said it is GERD. I started with antacid medications up to PPI's but does not go away.

Six months ago, I had an endoscopy and found that I have H. Piroli bacteria and acute Gastritis at the bottom and deuterum parts of my stomach. I was given 2 kinds of antibiotic with PPI for 2 weeks to kill H. Pyroli, but don't know if I still have it unless I go for another endoscopy which is expensive. Now I am still in PPI's to control acid reflux but would like to get off this medication because of long term side effects as I read about it in the internet. Ted, please advise. God bless this forum! Binks... P. S. For the Filipinos, can we share YM or skype addresses to help each other while we post our experiences? Same..

Backing up of poisons in your bowels is usually the cause of this. With the cleansing of the colon, a proper diet and Chiropractor adjustments, and with the proper stimulation to the capillary circulation, these will disappear. Clean your colon with enemas or colonics done properly. Your diet should consist mainly of alkalizing foods 80% alkalizing to 20% acid. To stimulate your capillary circulation use a sauna or steam room followed by a rubdown of olive oil or peanut oil. I would use the steam room until the problem goes away and then after that I would use it maybe once a week. Also use Castor Oil packs, they help with everything!
