Sd and Hyperthyroidism

Posted by Anonymous (Queens, NY)

I have sebhorreic dermatitis on my scalp. I have hyperthyroidism (an overative thyroid). Will peroxide and apple cider vinegar work for me. My PCP once told me that my condition may be why I have sebhorreic dermatitis. Have you ever heard of this? Thanks for your time!

The effect of a cure can be noticed an improvement after one application whether it works for you or not. If it doesn't work the issue is hormonal rather than fungal/parasite issue. The remedy was designed to deal wtih fungal/parasite cause to the seborrheic dermatitis. However, I have one reader in England, that was cured of it using tea tree oil, vitamin A, lavender and apple cider vinegar. He told me he spend over a thousand Pounds (British currency) trying to get a cure and but one did the trick. A vitamin deficiency can also trigger the condition as well as a mineral deficiency. So taking up vitamin and mineral supplements of a softgel kinds is recommended. If your hormones are the issue, then I suggest to wash or skin of the said condition with borax mixed with water, as this will help the balance the hormones.

I suffered from severe burning scalp for years. It was only because I accidentally stumbled upon an issue of John Hopkins newsletter that I was able to figure out the cause of the problem.

I created a blog about it to share the whole story: http://livingslsfree.org/

I hope it maybe helps you.

I think I have SD and on/off hairloss.... For plenty of years... Recently I tried oregano oil in my shampoo for 4 weeks and it seem to work great! No more itchy scalp, no more tightening and flaking... My scalp felt healthy... And no hairloss. The problem is, I asked my friend to look at my scalp and she said my scalp was pink?!! But she said my hair had grown denser..... But I decided to stop my use of oregano oil as I thought it may be too excessive, causing the pink scalp... (i googled and most people said pink scalp wil become a problem for hairloss. ) Funny thing is I never had hairloss even when I had a pink scalp.

Anyways, having stopped the oregano oil in shampoo treatment, my scalp is slowly beginning to itch again... So my question is, is it safe to use oregano oil (2 drops) in my shampoo daily for long term? this seems to be the only thing controlling my itchy scalp... But risk having a pink scalp?
