Hard Bumps That Became Soft and Tender Cysts

Posted by Beverly (Columbia, SC) on 02/17/2006

At age 17, my daughter developed several spots on her head that started out as a hard bump, it then became soft and tender and you could tell that some liquid was inside. It started in the top of her head and they began appearing in other parts of her head. The largest was in the top. The dermatologist said she had a cyst and needed to have surgery. She had surgery but the surgeon said it was a chronic infection and he just cleaned it out. Afterwards we had to pack it until it closed. Now she has a scar and the bumps have been coming back. She has had bumps coming back on top of the scar and all over her head. Once it drains, its ok. The doctors have not been able to diagnosed the problem. What do you think this is and what can we do?

It is a boil-like conditions that if you keep doing what already doing this condition will persist throughout her entire life. Yes, I have seen it and it gets a over the body eventually. In other words draining the thing will temporarily relieve the condition, but the cause is simply that she is carrying the germs beneath her skin.

There are several kinds of germs, but the germs that hospitals have trouble getting rid of is those germs that are acid resistant since nearly all hospital antiseptics are in fact acid and very likely to be the staphyloccocus bacteria. They have a tendency of showing up in what the hospitals call it as "bed sore" which is currently incurable and when a leg gets this, some hospitals do amputate them. However decades ago the cure was relatively easily until the hospitals decided change antiseptic procedures.

To treat the cause is really simple, just give her a bath with sodium carbonate or wash her hair or scalp using a relatively alkaline product. Borax might be helpful, but sodium carbonate mixed in water would be more effective.

Another way that hospitals do it to kill the staphyloccocus quite effectively decades ago is to make a weak potassium permanganate solution, where you mix it until you get a weak or mild purple solution with water and use that and apply on the area.

However these above will simply just treat the symptoms rather than the cause, a more effective way is to simply alkalize your blood and raise your pH to kill the staph. To do this a most effective way I have found out is to mix sodium bicarbonate citric acid potassium citrate magnesium chloride in the following ratios: 1: 2: 1: 1 This solution will alkalize both the BLOOD and the intracellular tissues as well. When you make this mix, put your dosage per day will be about 1 teaspoon twice per day. This is a relatively mild way to alkalize the blood, a more aggressive way is to take 250 mg of potassium carbonate per day PLUS citric acid and baking soda in a 2: 1 ratio at 1 teaspoon per day. Potassium carbonate is taken on once but only after you take the citric acid and baking soda. The baking soda and citric acid is taken twice a day once in morning and another before bed time.

To kill this boil like condition it is necessary that you use tea tree plus lavender oil and apply it onto the skin at least twice a day for an entire month, as this too will kill it. My close friend has this similar conditions during her studies in India and I used this method and it somewhat takes long, it does kill the germs under the skin. YOu need to apply the oil to the entire general area to prevent further spread. This will dry up the bumps and will form a slight brown scaring when they do die off. These days, I have seen all kinds of conditions that hospitals don't care in curing and I have no choice but to conduct my own experiments.

So far this is the best treatment I have seen. Following the above procedures you should see some improvements within days, but noticeable improvement should take a month and a cure could take several months to completely rid of them. You need to get a pH meter to measure the urinary pH and try to get it exceeding pH of 6.5 and ideally at 7.0 pH to rid of the germs. Please see an article I have written on pH here at earthclinic.
