Bald Patch with Tender Regions That Ooze From Pores

Posted by Kristina (San Jose, CA) on 03/11/2006

My sister recently found a bald patch on the back of her head roughly 2 sq.in. She has never had this before, and was quite shocked. The patch does have tiny sprouting hairs, and a few long hairs that have not fallen out. Now, nearly two weeks after, she has found tender, light pinkish regions on her scalp that seem to ooze a whitish substance/fluid from the pores. They are not bumps or boils that "popped", and the fluid is thick and secreted in a good amount, but not all at once (consistently)--it must be puss. Up until now she has had a history of dandruff, but this is unlike anything we've ever seen before. She's trying T-Gel, but I don't think that is what she needs, so I came to you. What is this? And what can be done? Please help, I only hope that this problem doesn't persist because she could go bald completely!

This problem is already worldwide, but I don't know why doctors are at a loss on this as it is a fungus like infection, or something resembling skin form of mycoplasma.

The simplest method that I can dream of that found to be of good use is the use of tea tree oil and lavender and applied continuously on the skin long enough so that it will be killed. There are variations of this method such as the use of acetone applied before the use of tea tree and lavender for example. For my mother, she uses a simple isopropyl alcohol before application. The alcohol will rid the body of bacteria while the tea tree and lavender are akin to antifungal and antiviral properties. Of course, it is the frequency of application which will work, such as at least 3 times a day for a month or so. The use of vinegar and ACV in conjunct with tea tree and lavender I have seen is also good, as well as hydrogen peroxide as well.

As you can see there are many ways in going about this treatment, but the foundation of treatment lies with tea tree and lavender. A pre-treatment of hydrogen peroxide, alcohol and apple cider vinegar is done for cleaning before the use of tea tree and lavender, I have found to be important.

Finally, alkalizing through the use of sodium bicarbonate plus citric acid at 1/4 teaspoon two times a day (morning and evening) mixed in 1/4 glass of water is important also to kill them from the inside out.
