Borax is 20 mule team borax. About 2 tablespoons of borax dissolved in a 1 liter of water and unrinsed and left overnight. Borax is antifungal. Staying away from sugar and white bread are the major issues, and also cola which seems to support fungus growth. Aspartame and diet colas make the condition much worse.
If taken internally its done only a couple of days a week such as 3 to 5 days of 1/8 (woman's dose) borax in one liter of drinking water.

Alkalizing the body is critical and there's two remedies I used, one a simple one the other is a more effective one:

1. 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day

But a more effective on is this one

2. 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda plus 1/4 teaspoon of sodium carbonate (washing soda) in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day.

Most 20 mule team borax are sold in supermarkets as are Arm and Hammer's baking soda and washing soda.

A vitamin C sodium ascorbate 1000 mg a day is also anti fungal too, but to a lesser extent than a borax remedy.
