How to Apply and Use Borax

Posted by M (Texas) on 07/28/2007

Ted, Thank you so much for your response! It amazes me that you make so much time to help others with your knowledge & expertise. I was curious about trying the Borax, and am going to try & purchase today. I am a little apprehensive using it as far as how much I'm supposed to use and how to apply it. Would I apply it to my scalp or would I drink it internally? Or both? I'm guessing I'll only be able to find the 20 mules Borax they sell at Target & wal-mart so could you please tell me how to go about doing this. Would really like to try it starting today and nip this stuff in the bud. I think I have been having success w/the ACV & baking soda. Amazingly, I don't seem to need to take much, only 2 tbsp. once a day. I tried more and my stools got pretty loose & yesterday I was right on at 7.0 only taking it once. Probably b/c I'm pretty small right now. I have been working w/a medical intuitive who believes I have had hidden copper, so have been on a protocol to get rid of it w/zinc & molybdenum & other stuff. Did you say Borax or ACV actually helps to rid your body of heavy metals as well? Or does maintaining a certain ph do that? I was under the impression you had to take a whole bunch of garbage to get heavy metals out, but that's probably just people trying to sell more stuff. Anyways, thank you for all your help. I know you must be incredibly busy, and I really appreciate your reponse!

I would likely to do the external application first for a couple of weeks. If not just maybe once a week one pinch of borax (1/16 teaspoon) in a liter of water (since our body needs boron anyway.

don't seem to need to take much, only 2 tbsp. once a day.

Actually the maximum general dose (not the optimum) is 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water taken twice a day. If you taken 2 teaspoon that could be quite close to getting a loose stool.

Loose stools may cause diarrhea, but if you dilute enough of those in water, the concentration will reduce and the diarrhea don't happen. For example if 2 teaspoon that appears to be closer to 1/2 glass = 1/2, which means a 2 teaspoon will be diluted in 2 glasses of water (it's four times the dose or 4 x 1/2 = 2).
