Weight Gain and Cravings: ACV or Depo?

Posted by Anonymous (Anonymous) on 09/01/2011

Hi Ted, I recently started taking ACV, an unfiltered brand. I have found since taking it, I have an increase in appetite. I read that many people use the ACV to lose weight. I was taking it for my endometriosis. I am currently taking Depo Provera to help with the excruciating pain and I do not have a monthly cycle. I would like to know is it normal to experience the increase in appetite and sugar cravings? IF not, what is the cause of this.

I take my ACV twice a day during the morning and night with tea and honey.

The Depo Provera is a progesterone and it increases appetite. ACV does not increase or decrease appetite, it just prevents accumulation of fats, as a component of ACV is acetic acid, which is vinegar we buy, but the malic acid increases energy. I will find it unusual for ACV alone to increase appetite, but that doesn't happen. I would prefer natural progesterone cream which is a safer from of progesterone and it doesn't have the unusual effects on appetite increase.

If I use a natural progesterone cream do you think it will help with my endometriosis? I want to stop taking the Depo but the pain is unbearable. When I discovered Earth Clinic many women said the ACV helped with endometriosis. This is why I have started to take it. I have been on Depo for 10 years. I am not sure why I have a sudden surge in appetite. I am very concerned about putting a chemical in my body. My only other alternative is to have a hysterectomy. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. How many tablets of Lycopene or Bromelain would you suggest?

A Million thanks for your response and suggestion. I have been suffering with this for many years. I have not been able to find a natural remedy. God Bless you.
