Loss of Smell and Bladder Issues

Posted by Anonymous (Anonymous) on 09/05/2011

Ted, I have been reading all the cures that you add to the earthclinic site and they have been very helpful for me and my family. Today I have a question for my mother, she has lost her sense of smell and going to the bathroom and she is on diapers now and for quite sometime. Can you kindly suggest what I can give her? She is very disturbed by her condition and only senses it after she leaks in the diaper.

Kindly help.

Anosmia is a condition where their is a zinc deficiency, and loss of muscular control of the bladder is sometimes due to magnesium deficiency. Try magnesium chloride solution saturated, given 8 drops two times a day. If she also has loss of appetite then something to do with her peripheral nerves, and is usually B1 deficiency and some B50 b complex. The zinc is best given in form of zinc acetate or zinc gluconate, 25 mg. Zinc is taken only briefly, about two weeks should be enough. If not helped by then, consider carnosine supplements 500 mg a day.
