Could This Be a Spinal Virus Mimicking Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Posted by Shannon (Collinsville, Ok) on 01/19/2012

Two weeks after having my fourth child I started having back and chest pain. This was a repeat c section and they did a spinal block. It then radiated down my arms. Then to my legs and head. I have major joint pain and muscle pain / weakness. I have been to my doctor for blood tests and every other test imaginable it seems. The only oddity was an elevated sed rate of 30. The pain is consistant in back but alternates from upper to lower body.

Also I have an achy flulike feeling all the time. I am 36, 5' 4" 145 pounds. In the past I have had 3 heart ablations. I am currently going to a rheumatologist which has put me on predinsone and loritabs awaiting the 3 months to know whether it is rhematoid arthritis. The pain has been going on for 8 weeks now. This never presented with any of my other 3 children. I am not a smoker or drinker. Could I have a spinal virus that mimics RA? Please help, thank you.

Yes, it is possible that's why when you have the flu, you also have back pain and with other viruses. But you can try a simple remedy of DMSO mixed with castor oil 20% and apply to the back. This will help. The other formula is MSM 30% with DMSO 70% with lavender oil to help reduce irritation in both formulas and apply. This will quickly help the condition in a couple of minutes.
