An oily face is the over production of sebum. It is a symptom of zinc deficiency and manganese deficiency. Taking zinc acetate of about 50 mg a day for about two weeks should noticeable reduce the over production of sebum. Manganese is also implicated, so taking similar amounts for only a week or so should should restore sebum to close to normal range. Preferred form is manganese sulfate, taken on an empty stomach. To help increase the body's absorption of manganese, it is important to take about 1000 mg of vitamin C in form of sodium ascorbate.

Large pores, interestingly relates to the body's ability to heal wounds. With a deficiency in B vitamins, especially those relating to cellular structures such as Vitamin B5 pantothenic acid (I prefer the panthenol kind) and Inositol should help with wound healing. Of course the dose if fairly large, such as about 250 mg/day for about a week or so.

Wound healing also relates to the body's sugar levels, antioxidant level, the body's pH, and the ability for the body to rid of eliminations.

The antioxidant level can easily be increased by simply avoiding certain foods. In particular, foods high in heavy metals, where the major source comes from frying on open pots and pans, such as french fries, hamburgers, for example. So switching from open frying foods to boiling foods non oils should reduce the heavy metals, thus increasing the body's antioxidant levels.

Raising your body's pH will increase micro circulation and therefore taking 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water twice a day, once before bedtime and once in morning on empty stomach is helpful. You need to avoid food after taking this for at least 1 hour. Otherwise, the salty food will react with bicarbonates to cause a diarrhea effect. By alkalizing the body's elimination will be increase through reductions of constipation, a source of toxin that can cause skin acne.

The body's sugar level can simply be reduce by just drinking more water, taking more lecithin reducing the liver and pancreatic burden due to oily foods and help the body reduce excess oils which tends to burden the body's immune processes.

Scarring may reduce by taking vitamin E and now and then take aspirin. Cleaning the face with antiseptic lotion is also helpful. But you need to eat horsetail, high in silicon so that the body's wound healing will proceed normally.

How long does it take on average for the body to rid itself of excess fats using Lecithin? How long can an individual use Lecithin as a supplement?
