Posted by Anonymous on 05/28/2011

Hi Ted,

I'm new to the Earth Clinic and am quite overwhelmed by the contents and information on the site. I am a firm beliver in alternative treatment and natural cures but also think that every remedy does not work for everybody and there is always a set of specific remedy that works for you.

The reason I need to contact you urgently on your personal e-mail address is I am new to the earth clinic site and I really am in a dilemma as to which formula would work for my best friend, who has had her Bone Marrow Transplant done about 4 months back and is still on the medications, doctors have prescribed her many drugs, including immune suppressant drugs (cyclosporine) anti viral and antibiotics as a part of her treatment, her recent blood tests are showing that her platelets levels are down also her heamoglobin is low,

Could you please, please let me know the suitable natural remedy to increase her platelet counts and iron levels,

I do apologise for taking the liberty of writing you on your personal e-mail address, and please excuse me if I have offended you in any way. But do reply me with the suitable remedy ASAP, as i do want to solve this problem for her as soon as possible, she has gone through a lot in her life. Please help.

As per Bill's suggestion, I am listing all the current medication she is taking after her Bone Marrow Transplant to cure her AML4 (type of Luekemia), by the grace of God so far she has responded well to the treatment except low hb count and low platelet levels, she also has finished the course of 5 injections for Hb Darbopoetin 100mcg ..( by dr reddy). once weekly taken 5 in total to address her Aneamia.

cyclosporrine 50mg -- 1-0-0
acivir 800dt................ 1-0-1
folic acid 5mg............ 1-0-0
becosula ................... 1-0-0
calcimax forte........... 1-0-0

amlodepin 2.5mg....... 1-0-0
septvan 400mg.......... 1-0-1 only on wed and sat.

doc told to stop udiliv( for liver) in a week's time.

Ted, I know You will be able to help her with your vast knowledge and experience also her will to get over this phase and my faith in the God and her ability to recover will triumph and she will be healthy again,

God Bless You.

It's quite an effort trying to answer all emails in time.

Leukemia is best handled and traditionally cured by having a lot of transfusions. The immunosuppressive therapies in itself may cause blood marrow to be low on red blood cells and other cell counts. That's how it works. There is selenium yeast supplement that will supress the leukemia from forming, but I think it is taken between 200 mcg to 1000 mcg, with a middle number around 600 mcg a day. You can spread the dosages to 200 mcg x 3. Lanthanum chloride is the other one I used, and is taken anywhere from 1 mg. a day to 100 mg. I think it is best to start from 1 mg and work from there. Certain causes of leukemia can be viral as the cause and is well known in research circles, whether Human Leukemia virus, or Feline Leukemia virus or Bovine Leukemia virus. Those you use Lysine as the major supplement, 1/2 teaspoon hourly for four hours, for two rounds, one in the morning and another in the evening. It must be taken for at least 2 - 3 days, that I am sure. It also helps if threonine, at the very least is taken with the lysine, at least 1/4 teaspoon with every lysine. Then in day three, you might consider giving some glutamine, but that's only 1/3 teaspoon. After the hourly dose 4 doses, two rounds 2-3 days, it is given 4 doses hourly in the morning and 1 doses before you sleep should be sufficient. This should kill the leukemia virus that cause leukemia. Lysine and other amino acid is consider a food, but a specific food that we HUMANS are deficient in. Livestock animals is the exceptions because farmers supplement them. Chinese wolfberry, in Thai we call it Kao Kee, is given to all leukemia people as it suppresses leukemia cells. Usually you take 1 teaspoon 4 to 6 times a day. Two things I also take is citral or Lemongrass teas and lots of DMSO helps leukemia cell differentiation 10 drops x 5 times to 6 times a day. Magnesium is extremely different in leukemia and magnesium is responsible for 600 enzymes and this helps too. There is others, but this is just a short list, for most people it enough. Most important is two things, get your pH within the range and control your blood sugar, it should be 90 mg/dL maximum tolerable limit is 100 mg/dL but not over. Therefore to get sugar under control below 100 mg/dL is carrot juice one glass taken before each meal. To get pH urinary within the range, say 6.5 to 7.0, you take baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon AFTER MEALS 30 minutes it will take time if your body is acidic at least 1 week.

P.S. There is a case I cured leukemia with just lemon juice and baking soda. The lemon contains vitamin C, but it was also the lemon oil (d-limonene) found in the peels, so you must squeeze hard enough to obtain that. The I add 1/4 teaspoon to the lemon and drink once or twice a day. It was a simple leukemia and it was cured within a month, but for you it seems to be serious one, hence many more remedies have to be taken. I don't think that immunosuppressive therapies are helpful in suppressing white blood cells from reproducing that tends to worsen leukemia and virus leukemia in the long run.

Dear Ted,

Thank you so much for answering my mail personally, I was eagerly waiting for your mail, in between the mail I sent you and now, she was on the following regime, which seems to have caused the blast down to about 3% which is a great relief but her today's CBC result is showing as under, kindly let me know the best dietery regime for her to increase her platelete, hb and wbc, though her wbc counts were never a problem before this.

Please consider this really urgent and let me know your remedies asap, as we really do not want her to have medication to address low counts and I know you will have the best remedy, also certain items mentioned in your mail are not available here in India, is it possible to replace it with food/diet intake?

We also have stopped her Cyclosporin since last 2 weeks, Ted, is it possible that while her body was fighting her blast cells, all her wbc, platelet, hb counts have gone down? will they bounce back, she has been given one blood transfusion today.

Her latest cbc

Hb - 7%
wbc - 2550
platelet- 20,000
nutraphill -14%
pcv - 22.5%
lymphocytes- 59%
atypical ym'cyte blast 3%???

You will notice she has fought her blast successfully but other counts also need to come up rapidly, please respond soon.

She has been on the following regime:

Bitter gourd juice with Indian gooseberry juice, parsley, mint
Carrot juice with a half beetroot ,indian gooseberry
Apple, pomgranet and Indian gooseberry
Apple,black grape and Indian Gooseberry
Parsley, mint and Indian gooseberry juice.

As you know Indian gooseberry is very high in Vitamin C we try to give her the maximum dose of it, No refined sugar, no milk, little bit curd in the meals,

some seeds like seasme seeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds,
Few Brazil nuts(for selenium), almonds, pistachio and/or cashew nuts,
4/5 dates, 2/3 figs,

Green tea,
Tea made up of cinnamon, clove and Holy Basil (Tulsi) to drink through out the day

2 Simple meals of Roti (indian homemade bread), a dish of vegetables, rice and lentils
with raw original (not the powdered but the one that looks like Ginger) turmeric and fershly grated ginger during her meals.

Eagerly looking forward to your feedback,

Apart from the earlier medication stated she is now taking Vitamin B-complex, and Omega 3 fish oils pills once daily.

Kind Regard and God bless You.

You would best try selenium yeast and humic acid (Shilajit). There is a form of humic acid that are high in iron, there is also ferrous gluconate for red blood cells too. I know that Indians are especially prone to mycobacterium or related bacteria, if it gets under the bone marrow its effects is to prevent blood cells form forming. Humic acid been known to resolve anemia in few cases.

Since you have trouble finding some of the supplements needed to raise white bood cells and raise red blood cells, here is a more complete list (but not necessary complete):

Red blood cells:
PABA 1/4 teaspoon
Lithium Chloride 10%, 10 drops a day at night time
Histidine 1/4 teaspoon a day
Hydrogen sulfide,,, in form of 5 gram of sulfide, in 30 cc of water, take 5 drops a day
CoQ10 Ubiquinone 400 mg

White Blood cells:
Antivirals... Lysine.. Andrographis paniculata..Sabah Snake Grass
Neem
Selenium try 200-400 for a week, thereafter 200 mg
Lanthanum Chloride 10 mg to 1000 mg is fine
Chinese wolfberries
Citral Its found in certain lemon grass, the fresh green smell.
Verbena
Zinc 30 mg a day
Magnesium 100 mg three times a day.

All this I tested and there is no harm in taking it.

Oh yes, also DMSO for red blood cells....say 10 drops twice a day.

The white blood cells can be raised in some cases the following:

Morning
Lysine 1/4 teaspoon hourly for four hours
Threonine 1/4 teaspoon hourly for four hours

Evening
Lysine 1/4 teaspoon hourly for four hours
Threonine 1/4 teaspoon hourly for four hours

A flu like symptoms she should get on the first and second day. It's a good sign, by the third day usually she's ok. The problem about my clients is upon seeing a flu like symptoms on the first day, they quit my entire remedy and it must be done for three days otherwise the virus will reinfect, and go on natural course of killing the patients.

Note: Most of my clients peculiarly strange diseases. Therefore, they give a half-hearted try. It's quite common here. Therefore, the remedies are somewhat incomplete.
