Diabetes Type 1 From Pancreatic Damage After Getting Mono 13 Years Ago

Posted by Anonymous on 06/15/2011

Hi Ted,

I have been visiting earthclinic.com for over a year now, at my brothers recomendation. First and foremost, I have type 1 diabetes and have unfortunately had many complications from this. I just want to say, so many of your remedies have done wonders for me in very desperate situations. What I am interested in right now, is something a little more direct with treating my high blood sugar. I have treated many of the complications, but want to get to the root of the problem. My diabetes is due to pancreatic damage that occured while recovering from MONO about 13 yrs ago. Let me tell you what I have been doing so far.

I sip 1 tbsp ACV in 16 oz water

I take a combo form of chromium, both picolinate and histidinate
it recommends 1 capsule daily with meal, but I take it twice with my 2 biggest meals now and notice a better effect on my BS.

I use cinnamon daily in my meals.

I have stopped using artificial sweeteners. I switched to stevia or agave nectar to sweeten most teas and drinks.

I am also using other supplements and remedies for other ailments as well

For large and bleeding fibroids I have been taking BSM daily. I also use a natural progesterone for 3 weeks a month. I just started this and while the bleeding has stopped the tumors are still the same size.

I have terrible teeth, but have switched to a non floride toothpaste and am swishing 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 3 parts water at least twice a day. I am also applying a clove oil cottonball to an abcess i have right now. I have been using th clove oil for 3 days and the abcess is slowly shrinking. After the clove oil i swish with sea salt water as well.

I take 520 mg of magnesium daily in am and night. I do not take potassium as my potassium levels on last blood work was very high and causing heart palps.

I take vit d daily for a total of 1200iu a day. Blood work showed a D deficiency.

I take daily folic acid and garlic supplements and use fressh garlic and cilantro in my cooking.

I have tried oil pulling, but do not do it regularly as I tend to gag. Any recomendations for that?

I use coconut oil as a moisturizer. I have a skin condition, keratosis pilaris and this helps keep my skin smooth.

Dhea once daily.

I add liguid algae to my tea 2-3 times a week.

I also suffer from BV and have been using H2O2 with some success. I have found I have to continue treatment for 3 weeks to clear it up for more than a few days. On another note I have noticed hydrogen peroxide helps with vaginal yeast infections. It burns, as I use it undiluted, burt can clear it within 2 days when applied 3 times a day.

I have also cut down my red meat intake to 1-2 times a week. I try to eat fish or peanut butter for my proteins. Beans and legumes too.

I think that is all. There are other things on and off i take for illness, but these are all my dailies.

What I am looking for is, as I said before, advice on treating my pancreas. This is the cause of my diabetes and I wonder if there is anyway to repair my pancreas or at least improve function. I have elevated cholesterol and my liver function tests are sub par.

I have also been experiencing increased muscle fatigue and weakness lately. I walk most days and do yoga as excercise. I also chase my 5 children around, and thats quite a workout. This time of year I have added swimming to my regime. Any advice you can give me would be wonderful. I appreciate your time and all the advice posted on the earthclinic site.

The emails keep stacking up...so sorry not answering sooner.

I take vit d daily for a total of 1200iu a day. Blood work showed a D deficiency.

It won't work. You need 20,000 i.u. of D3 and CoQ10 400 mg. That should raise the vitamin D levels a bit, but only if you take magnesium on top of that.

I take daily folic acid and garlic supplements and use fressh garlic and cilantro in my cooking.

Good, but I prefer, not anyone elses, 5 mg of folic acid.

I have tried oil pulling, but do not do it regularly as I tend to gag. Any recomendations for that?

Skip that and take astralagus, you seem to have some sort of kidney problems or immune system. I think diabetics type I should avoid oil pulling or minimize it since oils tend to block hormonal signals.

There is another that doesn't burn: tannic acid 10% and 90% water. People tend to put too much tannic acid, 10% will do. Two applications a day usually will clear up faster.

As to mono problem causing pancreas damage, its quite common that the pancreas gets infected with a virus to cause Diabetes type I. One mother had chicken pox and that transferred to the baby can cause it to be diabetes. In autopsy performed on diabetes type 1, most people got virus of the pancreas which is what causes the problem. This is an age old problem and there is actually many treatments to kill it. But I prefer my own, since I have first hand knowledge for that one

Aloe vera oil, 5 drops a day. I know aloe vera oil is not popular, so the next best one is aloe vera extract, 1/16 teaspoon a day

Lysine 1/3 teaspoon
Threonine 1/4 teaspoon
Should you have a sugar craving....
then add
Glutamine 1/4 teaspoon
Milk thistle 1/16 teaspoon
Elderberry 1/8 teaspoon

It's taken hourly for 4 hours, and another in evening.

You do that for three days, the on the fourth day you decide for yourself if you should reduce the dose, usually, you need a minimum of 3 doses thereafter. It depends on individual budget and conditions.

The aloe vera is needed in low doses and taken only once a day it will help regeneration of pancreas.

And remember astralagus take 2 a day, 1000 mg.

That's just for starters.

Ted

P.S It won't kill all of it but it will kill some 90% of it.
