When to Take and How Often?

Posted by Roger (Peoria, IL) on 03/04/2007

Question, the apple cider vinegar and baking soda solution, how many times a day? on an empty stomach or with food? and is it taken every day or in cycles?

Three times a day on empty stomach is better, but in practice it is two times a day, because of convenience. The average dose is 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar plus 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. The pH is exactly neutral at 7.0 pH. But in theory the pH should be closer to 7.35 as same as the blood, but that is still not a perfect formula as the body must processed and the end urinary pH is the deciding factor at 7.35 is best. In practice, higher than 7 pH, but below 7.5 is often the case as most people's food they consume tend to be quite acid. Where most diets the average urinary pH is around 7.5, which is quite unhealthy since urinary pH should be between 6.5 to 7.35. Taking hospital meds will definitely distort the true value of pH, so it is quite difficult to real figures unless the hospital meds were temporarily stopped to actually measure the true value.

on an empty stomach or with food?

On empty stomach is often better. If taken along with food, in some cases this may lead to diarrhea. This is of course from the baking soda added to mix. Of course in some cases constipation problems might overrule this matter. But for acid reflux problem, this should be taken at 1 hour or more before meal, and this is referred only to the apple cider vinegar plus baking soda formula.

and is it taken every day or in cycles?

Ideally, 5 days out of the week. The body for some reason needs a rest for at least 2 days. It is more like a cycle.
