I remember when I was a very young child walking in the hospital one day visiting my mom and remembered a person being treated successfully for pulmonary fibrosis. (Yes a cure!) However, as medical systems are mainly monopolistic (technically an oligopoly) concerned, this information is kept secret. So I guess I have to reinvent the wheel since, I had no idea of the treatment. What I DO KNOW is that the tiny capillaries of the lungs got collapsed and apparently this herbal medicine increased the REBUILDING capillary formation.

It is very likely that the method of treatment involves finding a herbal medicine which causes rebuilding and PREVENTS COLLAPSING OF CAPILLARIES. Since your father is in the early stage, the likely herbal medicine appears to be of Centella Asiatica (a common Indian Pennyworth). There is plenty here in Thailand, fresh and green. It can be taken in an extracted powdered form or taken taken as a juice. It is a popular drink in Thailand called "Bua Bok". Believe it or not I once sold this Thai herbal medicine, but stopped selling them since it is so common, we can buy from the supermarket here in Thailand. Centella Asiatica is a well known herbs which increase rebuilding of capillaries.

The second herbal medicine that is very likely to help is aloe vera oil and aloe vera juice. It helps rebuild dying tissues very quickly. Taken internally. Best option is to get Aloe vera oil, which is easily found and D-Mannose which can be purchased over the internet.

The third alternative medicine that will help which will stop almost instantly any autoimmune system disorder is very likely to be sodium perborate. I have successfully conducted tests on my pet dog which is proven to be useful against autoimmune disorders. Magnesium Chloride are taken along.

Finally, top of that take D-Mannose. This will help remove whatever bacteria or viral debris in the lungs. D-Mannose will dislodge if the causes if of bacterial origin.

As a safety precaution my guess is for you to take at least 800 mg of N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) this is a natural medicine found in the body and quite safe. It will clear the lungs of any mucus (bacteria and virus along with it) and will likely improve within DAYS!

Of course there are other methods such as gingko biloba which will improve any microcirculation needed to prevent such collapsing of the capillary actions.

I personally suspect that Vitamin B3 ONLY in the form of Nicotinic Acid will increase WITHIN 30 -45 MINUTES any tiny capillary actions (due to the flushing effect) and will improve circulation ANDREPAIRS. Take it every other day perhaps 100-200 mg. However 30 minutes before taking vitamin B3 (ONLY NICOTINIC ACID!) TAKE aspirin to eliminate the flushing effect or irritation. In my case it cause mild itching for 10 minutes after taking vitamin B3. Capillaries to be clear, taking about 0.4% of hydrogen peroxide food grade along with B3 will help. If you want to go low tech, just get Apple cider vinegar, however the amount is about 30-60 cc of apple cider to be taken every day. The malic acid and acetic acid will soften the lung tissues. Perhaps you can put vinegar aerosol and breathe it. The vinegar upon reaching the lungs will amost certainly remove the calcification and hardening of lung lining within days allowing such recovery. You might consider using Methyl Sulfonyl Methane and maybe synergistic with the vinegar.

Of course there are other methods of treating, which time does not permit me to go any further."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand writes: "[This] condition is due to the result of usually fungus, usually prevalent in humid and mouldy conditions, if you live in states where humidity, and rain is the constant source of problem. The other is your occupation, where you work with dusts, chemical dusts, smoke soothe, etc. People have different levels of comfort zone in the use of any medication. I too am on the side that is extremely uncomfortable to use any chemicals, just like you. With this kind of fear, I start with very low dose of anything such as spring water, which contains extremely small amounts of hydrogen peroxide, usually at levels of about 0.1% H2O2 usually found naturally. Then with some tiny improvement of general well being, I build up to get enough courage to add, only 1 drop of 3% H2O2 to one glass of water and see what happens. Of course, at the time I was a little down with the flew and noted an improvement. So I built enough bravery to go all the way to trying 2 drops, noted improvement, until it went to something like a ceiling of 0.5% H2O2 level. This is the maximum level you should not go over. Of course, I really have never used that high, only in conditions of a high fever flu which works quite well on me the flu was suppressed for 2 hours, which called for repeated dose, until I was able to eliminate the flu entirely.

The other issue I have was breathing H2O2 0.5%, which I don't do it either as I assumed to be dangerous. So what I did was put this into an aerosol pump spray as a room sanitizer and I breathed in. Rather indirectly, well that really helped my asthma and breathing problems.

You need not do any suggestions recommended here and there are plenty of information here already. There are really two kinds of people in the health field, to be honest with you. The pioneers and the settlers. The pioneers you can tell. They are the ones with arrows in the back. The settlers like you don't have to take much risk trying new ways to treat. Of course, by not moving, as with the settlers, they also faced starvation due to need of a farm land for which they have to persist. Here in Thailand most would rather die from a serious condition doing nothing, then to do something and face certain hopes of surviving. And then there are certain people, like me, who sometimes take ridiculous risks, without even the possibility of even ever dying to provide you with the information, should one day I or other people, might face. The information I have provided when I started had no information or lack of it and I have tried hard to put as much information as time will allow me to. For me it is more than enough for you to decide whether to stay pat or go forward.

Remember, I am one of those with arrows behind the back already, you may not get more arrows than me, but we all faced risks from any actions or even inactions. No drug companies will EVER give you this information, it is not in their best interest to use simple everyday chemicals that can cure disease. So it is really you who have to take the initiative yourself and take your own health into your own hands.

07/04/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Pulmonary fibrosis maybe helped by reduction of fibrosis condition with Lugol's iodine, but because of some nausea you need low dose, such as 1-2 drops. If she tolerates larger dose it will be find. There are ways around the iodine issue, for example there is nascent iodine that works find at larger dose, it seems people are energized. There is also EDTA iodine I make myself with Lugol's mixed with a tetrasodium EDTA, at somewhat more EDTA and Lugol's iodine content, wait a couple of hours after mix, such as 6 hours and solution will clear up, here you can take much larger dose around 10 drops to 20 drops of the solution without any problems. The fibrosis can be initiated when the immune system has not been exposed in a form that it needs to learn. Such as in active cell wall yeast or bacteria that is non active. That's how your immune system learn it, but it got in active form and gets hyper immunity, the one you are having now. Then there is a possibility that you can increase energy for your mother so she will handle it that way, such as selenium 200 mcg, CoQ10 400 mg ubiquinone, and vitamin E. If she has loss of appetite she needs vitamin B50, methylene blue 0. 1% drops about 4 drops twice a day. This really help, and then her immune system picks up, but is not in hyperimmunity states. Eating a bowl of oatmeal also helps pick up immunity the proper way, as all polysaccharides is how the immune systems learns of the infection, one is beta glucan, gum tragacanth, gum arabic, brewer's yeast, barley, millet for example. Wheat is deprive of beta glucan and may cause immune system to go haywire because they lack these very polysaccharides. This just the basics.

Hi Earthclinic/Ted, Many thanks for a great website! My dad is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis and has reached the stage of needing oxygen. I am interested in some of the treatment options that you have suggested here particularly aloe vera oil- it seems that all the aloe vera oil I can buy here in the uk seems to be for external use. What should I be looking out for and what is the best way to take it? You also mentioned that it is possible to inhale it too- whats the best way to go about this would you have to mix it with water?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Ted. My father was just diagnosed with IPF and the doc says there is no treatment and he has to be on oxygen for the rest of his life. And the doc says that his condition might get worse. I am a bit confused with the treatment that you have suggested. Is it ok if we can get in touch with you through email or phone??
