N acetyl cysteine 250 mg x 3 was not considered in the treatment, should clear up the mucous problem. The bromelain extract may help some, but you also need some lysine 1/4 teaspoon every hour for four hours. Alkaline issue may be settled with 1/3 teaspoon of at least sodium bicarbonate twice a day after meals. There is something about constipation issues and may need some potassium citrate 1/4 teaspoon twice a day taken with sodium bicarbonate. Need to eat more vegetables in the diet.
