Anytime the pH of any solution is below 7 (it tastes sour) it is acid and will dissolve the enamels of the teeth on dogs. If 2 tablespoons is neutralize of any acid so it won't dissolve the teeth, than at least 1/4 teaspoon baking soda must be added to neutralize the solution. Therefore add baking soda so that it does not damage the teeth.
