hi Ted im new to earth clinic but i really need your help i been struggling with SD for about 4 years it recently got really bad i now have pus filled small pimples on the sides and on top of my head. my dandruff has become scaly patches that covers parts of my scalp and it hurts whenever someone touchs my head. If i just rub my head for a little lots of flakes would fall off and my head itches really bad and lots of hair are falling out im only 17 and my hairline already looks very bad and its still receeding. im now trying out your ACV treatment and after the wash i put on Tea Tree Oil and leave on overnight i dont have lavender oil does that make a difference. your treatment really helps the itching so far but what could i do to make the pus filled pimples and scaly patches that cover my head to go away, please help me Ted im only 17

Tea tree will help prevent itching, even without the lavender oil, but without lavender oil, it may be a little irritating if tea tree oil is put in overnight. Lavender oil is anti inflammatory and helps in reducing some of dandruff. The cause of pimples in head is common to people who drink a lot of sodas, sugar, carbs and fried foods. Try to apply every night and not use shampoos, as it contains sodium lauryl sulfate. Borax solution is applied too and that should help with basic dandruff, but I think if you apply a 1/2 teaspoon of 100 cc tannic acid it will dry up the small pimples, but we haven't gotten to the root of the problem for that. Do that first and see how it goes.

08/29/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Try borax and baking soda in the hair, it is anti-fungal, the ACV may be too acid and may be a problem for you. Make a solution where it is water soluble and keep it in the hair for at least 10 minutes.
