Dear Comfort:

Traditionally it is the nitric oxide that causes increase in libido like L-Arginine supplements. For me I didn't notice anything. What I do is take 25 mg of DHEA/day and 1/8 teaspoon borax in one liter of water seems to increase my energy level and libido. I do it to reduce weight too. But if weight loss is the goal then biotin 10 mg and 200 mg. of alpha lipoic acid, must be added.

Some people have issues with DHEA, in that case you need to take some manganese sulfate 25 mg. and zinc acetate supplement 25 mg. appears to be a reasonable dose. They appear to offset the free radical production caused by the DHEA. This of course is not to be taken everyday but when energy levels appears to be low.

Of course, I don't get any complaints from those who do this, so I assume it works from at least one person with a smile on his face. Before he did took the supplements he was complaining his libido was "out of order".

In the research circles boron supplements such as borax for example seems to increase hormonal levels in woman, but they never did the research in men. At the time I took it not for libido, but to balance my magnesium and calcium ratios, as well as remove fluoride from my body to help with my sleep.

As a side benefit, increase in energy levels is noticed and, of course, increased libido. It doesn't work for everyone, but it seems to do a good job if you are especially beginning to look like a moon face, when you reach over 35 years of age. A moon face is a condition of adrenal insufficiency. Vitamin B5, panthenol 500 mg and inositol 500 mg seems to help with glandular function too as it is protective of glandular cellular structure and rebuilding.
